Moinia Foundation Calligraphy Contest 2010
In memorial of holy Miladunnabi (sm) , Moinia Foundation arranged a calligraphy contest. In this contest a few member of Calligraphy Society won prestigious prizes. Mohammad Abdur Rahim won the First Award in highest group. He get a certificate, a crest and prize money from Iranian ambassador Hasan Farazande in Dhaka.

Bangladesh Calligraphy Foundation

Bangladesh Calligraphy Foundation is one of the main calligraphy organization of Bangladesh. It tries to express Quranic culture and Islamic art in Bangladesh. It has a rich archive of calligraphy and some publication. Its president Mohammad Abdur Rahim and secretary Aminul Islam Amin are femous Calligrapher and Artist in Bangladesh.

3rd International Calligraphy Festival of Algeria

Mohammad Abdur Rahim attend in 3rd international calligraphy festival in Algeria 24th May to 4th June 2010. The 41 participant of 21 countries are attend the festival. There are various style and painting calligraphy work shown and express the Islamic culture.

Ibrahim Mondol
Artist & Cartoonist Ibrahim Mondol is the famous calligraphy artist and painter of Bangladesh. He organized 11 calligraphy exhibitions in Dhaka. He is the president of Calligraphy Society Bangladesh. He attend in many calligraphy exhibition home and abroad. His calligraphy is express neture and form of modern art of Bangladesh. The style of Tugra as like form of fish, landscape and natural motif of Bangladesh is found in Mondol's calligraphy. He attend in 9th international Quran calligraphy festival 2002 in Tehran, Iran.
